1. Agreement to Terms

By using PCS Agent ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PCS Agent. Your use of the Service signifies your acceptance of these Terms.

2. Service Description

PCS Agent is a multi-platform service that enables voice and smart home control of your personal computer via Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit & Siri, and Home Assistant. The Service includes:

• PC Power Control: Shutdown and Wake-on-LAN via voice commands
• Wake-on-LAN: Remotely turn on your PC (requires compatible network card)
• Screen Lock: Lock your screen for security
• Volume Control: Adjust system volume with voice
• Application Control: Open, close, and switch between applications
• Multi-Device Support: Control multiple PCs from one account
• Scheduled Commands: Set timers for delayed actions

Free Tier

• Price: €0/month
• 1 PC device
• Basic commands (shutdown, lock, volume)
• Manual discovery only

Standard Tier

• Price: €2.00/month or €10.00/year (save 58%)
• Up to 4 PC Agents
• All basic commands + Wake-on-LAN
• Automatic discovery, application control

Premium Tier

• Price: €4.00/month or €18.00/year (save 62%)
• Up to 10 PC Agents
• All Standard features + advanced automation + priority support

Pro Tier

• Price: €6.00/month or €25.00/year (save 65%)
• Up to 20 PC Agents
• All Premium features + custom integrations + dedicated support

Payment Processing: Handled securely via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date. If you activated a referral free trial, your card on file will be charged automatically at the end of the 30-day trial unless you cancel from your dashboard before the trial expires (see Section 6 for full referral terms).

4. Cancellation & Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time via your dashboard or by emailing [email protected]. You retain access until the end of your current billing period.

• 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Cancel within 14 days of first payment for a full refund
• After 14 days: No refunds for monthly/yearly subscriptions
• Failed Payments: Account downgraded to Free tier after 3 failed payment attempts

5. System Requirements

• A PC or Mac running Windows 10/11 or macOS 11+
• PCS Agent software installed on your computer (free download)
• Stable internet connection
• For Alexa: Amazon Echo device or Alexa app + valid Amazon account
• For HomeKit & Siri: Apple device with the Home app (iPhone, iPad, or Mac) on the same local network
• For Home Assistant: A running Home Assistant instance on your local network + HACS installed

6. Referral Program

PCS Agent offers a referral program that rewards both the inviter (the "Referrer") and the new user (the "Referred").

• Each account receives a unique referral code upon registration. The referral code is only visible/usable by users who have made at least one real payment (the paid_self requirement). Users who received a complimentary/gift access cannot generate referral conversions.
• Referred user benefit: When you register through a valid referral link/code, you receive a 30-day free trial of the Standard plan (or the configured trial tier). A valid payment method (credit/debit card) is required at signup to validate identity and to enable automatic continuation after the trial.
• Automatic renewal of the trial: At the end of the 30-day free trial, your card will be automatically charged the monthly fee of the active plan (currently €2/month for Standard, see pricing for other tiers) unless you cancel the subscription before the trial end date. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard or via Stripe Customer Portal — cancellation is instant and stops any future charge.
• Referrer benefit: The Referrer receives 1 free month of their current active plan, granted only after the Referred user's first real payment is processed (i.e., after the trial ends without cancellation). Cancellation during the trial means no bonus is issued to the Referrer.
• If the Referrer is on the Free tier when the bonus is issued, they receive 1 month of Standard.
• Limits: Maximum 1 invitation per month per Referrer. Maximum 3 successful conversions per Referrer per year. Limits reset on a rolling basis.
• Anti-abuse: Self-referrals are not permitted. Using the same payment card for Referrer and Referred (verified via Stripe card fingerprint) voids the bonus. We reserve the right to cancel referral credits and accounts if fraudulent activity is detected (e.g., creating fake accounts, payment method recycling).
• The referral credit applies once per converted user. Referral credits cannot be exchanged for cash and have no monetary value.
• How to cancel before being charged: log in to your dashboard at pcs-agent.com/dashboard within 30 days, click "Manage Plan" → "Cancel Subscription". Stripe will send an email reminder approximately 3 days before the trial ends.

7. Gift Trials

PCS Agent may issue one-time gift links granting temporary access to the Standard plan.

• Gift links are single-use and expire 30 days after issuance if not redeemed
• Gift links are tied to a specific account — they cannot be transferred to or used by another user
• Only one active gift link may exist per account at a time
• Gift trials cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with other promotions

8. User Account & Responsibilities

• Provide truthful information during registration
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure
• Do not share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use the Service

9. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for controlling your own personal computers for lawful purposes.

10. Prohibited Uses

You MAY NOT use the Service to:

• Access or control computers without authorization
• Engage in hacking, cracking, or unauthorized access
• Use for commercial purposes without our written consent
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service
• Engage in illegal activities
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

11. Intellectual Property

All rights to the Service remain the exclusive property of PCS Agent. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service. "PCS Agent" and associated logos are our trademarks.

12. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

• Data loss or corruption on your PC
• Hardware damage or system failures
• Service interruptions, downtime, or outages
• Unauthorized access to your account due to weak passwords
• Actions taken by your PC based on voice commands

Maximum Liability: Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the past 12 months (or €50, whichever is less).

13. Support & Service Availability

• Free Tier: Community support (best-effort)
• Standard/Premium: Email support within 48 hours
• Pro Tier: Priority support within 24 hours

Support is provided in English and Italian.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violating these Terms, repeated payment failures, suspected fraudulent activity, or legal requirements. Effect of Termination: you lose access to the Service and your data may be deleted after 30 days.

15. Changes to Terms

We will notify you by email for material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Italy. Before filing a legal claim, please contact us at [email protected] to attempt informal resolution.
