PCS Agent ("we," "us," "our") is a multi-platform service that enables voice and smart home control of your personal computer via Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit & Siri, and Home Assistant. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Amazon Alexa Terms of Use.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information from Amazon Alexa
When you link PCS Agent with your Amazon account, we receive:
- Amazon User ID: A unique identifier for your Amazon account
- Amazon Username: Your Amazon display name (if provided)
- Email Address: Your Amazon account email (for account verification and support)
- Voice Commands: Alexa sends us the interpreted text of your voice commands (we do NOT receive audio recordings)
2.2 Device Information
When you register your PC with our agent software, we collect:
- Device ID: A unique identifier for your computer
- Device Name: The friendly name you assign (e.g., "My PC", "Office Computer")
- MAC Address: For Wake-on-LAN functionality (optional, only if you enable this feature)
- Operating System: Windows/Linux/Mac version (for compatibility)
- Last Connection Time: When your PC agent last connected to our servers
- IP Address: Temporary, for WebSocket connection (not stored)
2.3 Usage Data & Logs
- Command Logs: Commands you send via Alexa (e.g., "shutdown PC", "lock screen")
- Execution Status: Whether the command succeeded or failed
- Timestamps: When commands were sent and executed
- Error Logs: Technical errors for troubleshooting (retained for 24 hours)
2.4 Home Assistant & HomeKit Integration Data
These integrations are entirely local — all communication happens directly between PC Agent and your local Home Assistant instance or Apple Home app, on your LAN. We do not receive, transmit, or store any additional data via these integrations.
- Home Assistant token (HA Secret): Stored locally on your device only — never sent to our servers
- HomeKit pairing code: Generated and stored locally via HAP protocol — never sent to us or Apple
- Device state (volume, apps, modes): Sent directly from PC Agent to your local HA/HomeKit — does not pass through our servers
2.5 Payment Information (via Stripe)
If you subscribe to a paid plan:
- Payment Data: Handled entirely by Stripe (we never see your credit card)
- What we receive from Stripe: Subscription status, plan tier, renewal date, payment ID

3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data only for the following purposes:
- Authentication: Verify your identity via Amazon OAuth
- Service Delivery: Execute voice commands you send via Alexa (shutdown, lock, volume, etc.)
- Device Management: Link your PCs to your Amazon account
- Subscription Management: Process payments and manage your subscription tier
- Customer Support: Respond to your support requests and troubleshoot issues
- Security & Fraud Prevention: Detect unauthorized access or suspicious activity
- Service Improvement: Analyze anonymized usage patterns to improve features
4. Legal Basis for Data Processing (GDPR)
We process your data based on:
- Contract Performance: Necessary to provide the service you requested
- Consent: You explicitly agree when linking your Amazon account
- Legitimate Interest: Fraud prevention and service security

We DO NOT:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Use your data for advertising or marketing
- Share your data with data brokers
- Track you across other websites
We ONLY share data with:
- Amazon Alexa: For OAuth authentication and voice command processing
- Stripe: For payment processing (only subscription and payment ID, not card details)
- Telegram (Optional): If you enable notifications, we send command confirmations to your Telegram (device ID only)
Home Assistant and HomeKit are local-only integrations. No data is shared with Apple or the Home Assistant project through us — communication is direct between PC Agent and your local devices.
All third parties are GDPR-compliant and have their own privacy policies.
6. Data Security
- Encryption in Transit: All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Encryption at Rest: Sensitive data encrypted in our Redis database
- Authentication: OAuth 2.0 with Amazon, session tokens with expiry
- Access Control: Admin access protected by strong passwords and 2FA
- Automatic Data Purge: Old logs and expired tokens auto-deleted
- No Audio Storage: We never receive or store Alexa voice recordings

Our servers are located in the European Union and comply with GDPR. We ensure adequate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.
11. Children's Privacy

14. Platform-Specific Terms
Amazon Alexa
By using PCS Agent with Amazon Alexa, you also agree to Amazon's Terms of Use and Privacy Notice. We do NOT receive audio recordings of your voice commands.
Apple HomeKit & Siri
The HomeKit integration runs entirely on your local network using the HAP (HomeKit Accessory Protocol). We do not transmit any data to Apple, nor do we receive any data from Apple related to HomeKit. By using this feature you also agree to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Home Assistant
The Home Assistant integration communicates directly between PC Agent and your local Home Assistant instance. Your HA access token (HA Secret) is stored only on your device and never sent to our servers. We are not affiliated with the Home Assistant project.
We collect minimal data (Amazon ID, device info, commands) to provide the PC control service. Home Assistant and HomeKit integrations are fully local — no extra data reaches our servers. We never sell your data, use strict security, and auto-delete old logs. You can delete your account and all data anytime.
